Green With Envy: Welcome Inside a Collected Dallas Home

"Let me be perfectly clear - I don't enjoy DIY projects, especially ones that involve precision and patience. I was shocked by how easy this product was to install." - Melissa

The Heart of the Home

Step inside Melissa's living room, complete with playful prints, natural materials, rich velvets, cheeky needlepoint and pops of pink. Our Marilyn Sofa, Stevie Swivels and Baytown Ottoman shine in COM fabric selections. "Society Social made my dream sofa - this olive green velvet number with contrast piping that is completely divine. In addition to their superior craftsmanship, Society Social provides welcoming access for normal people like me (i.e. non-designers) to access designer goods! Their COM program is the best in the biz and the reason I keep coming back!

Layered Living

Texas based creator, Melissa Smrekar, invites us inside her Dallas home, a cozy and collected space, filled with custom Society Social furniture and her latest room makeover, featuring our Peel and Stick Faux Grasscloth Wallpaper in collaboration with NuWallpaper.

In just two days, Melissa transformed this empty space from a blank canvas to a welcoming guest room. "I ordered samples of all three shades of green grasscloth - Hunter, Sage and Citrus. The ability to stick the samples to the actual wall where I wanted to install the wallpaper simplified the entire process because I could look at the color at different times of the day as the sun changed."

"The wallpaper is undoubtedly the star of the show"

"The Citrus color way immediately emerged as the frontrunner because I liked how it looked in the bright natural sun that my guest room receives. To hang the wallpaper, all I needed was a step ladder and Exacto knife. I then decorated this entire space with secondhand finds from Goodwill, Salvation Army and even items from my childhood home."
